One of the best things about creating this blog is the freedom to write and express myself anyway I want. Since I’m not getting paid, I don’t have to answer to sponsors or advertisers. I have the luxury of writing pretty much whatever the hell I want. Well today is one of those days where I’m going to do just that, but I promise it ties in with health and fitness. I’ve often talked about him but never formally introduced him or posted a picture. This guy’s a member of our family so this post is long over due. [Read more…]

Up until now I’ve been cautious about expressing my enthusiasm for eliminating wheat from my diet. Not because it’s very un-Canadian of me. Wheat is one of Canada’s largest exports by the way. The reason is I just don’t want to seem annoying. Don’t you just hate when a friend or family member suddenly becomes some health expert because they lost 2 lbs (probably just urine) on some new diet or cleanse? Yeah I never want to be that person. As soon as we were settled into our groove I was forced to take a portion of my yearly vacation time. Being smack in the middle of Europe means: [Read more…]
Well this post is long overdue. As I had previously mentioned here we’ve been quite busy preparing and now settling into our temporary life in Poland. Are we Polish? Nope. I hail from an Italian background and my wife is from a British background. Too be honest with you, before we knew we were coming here, we could barely point to Poland on the map, let alone Warsaw where we’re going to be living. We knew nothing about the country. Why are we here you ask? [Read more…]
