Happy Friday everyone. Hope everyone had a great work week. I absolutely love my job and the many upsides to it. Unfortunately it does have some downsides. One of which is missing our wedding anniversary this past week. To make matters worse I was on a layover in Cuba! Luckily my wife is fantastic and she’s incredibly understanding with my job sometimes. This weekend I’m going to try to make it up to her. What do you have planned for your weekend? Well if you’re contemplating kick starting a new workout routine, our resident chiropractor Dr. Joe posted his own personal nutrition tips for exercise and sports.
If you’ve got some spare time here’s this weeks recap from around the blogosphere:
The Moose is Loose posted a great article talking about how injuries don’t mean you have to scale back on life. I can completely relate to this after recently suffering a few of my own.
Mark Sisson from Mark’s Daily Apple told us to stop saying NO, and start saying YES!
One of my favourite blogs Art of Manliness showed us how to start a fire in the rain. This has absolutely nothing to do with health and fitness but it’s a pretty cool ‘dad trick’ to impress your kids, wife or buddies.
Nerd Fitness showed us how to find our gateway change, if we’re still stuck at the starting line.
Confidence vs. Arrogance in athletes. “Arrogance requires advertising, confidence speaks for itself.” I really liked this article by Ross at Ross Training.
My man Isaac Payne talked about how to become a powerhouse in the gym and in everyday life.
Buzz over at Dad Camp told us how he survived a 2-hour dinner at an upscale restaurant with 2 kids and no devices!
Well that should keep you busy reading when you’re on the toilet this weekend. Wherever you are in the world I hope you have a safe and fun weekend.
Keep the blue side up.
