Well it’s that time of the week again. Hopefully everyone is looking forward to the weekend. It’s bloody hot over here in Poland. This part of Europe is going through one hell of a heat wave. Before we left for Poland we asked people that have been here before “How hot does it get in the summer?” We mostly had replies of “Oh it’s kinda cold there, you probably won’t wear shorts too often” or Maybe a week or two of heat and that’s it” Yeah right thanks! It’s boiling and my pants are constantly sticking to my bum cheeks like a sticker arghhhh! Anyways enough rambling, here’s this weeks round-up:
Well known Canadian blogger Dai Manuel at The Moose is Loose talked about the latest viral #dadbod phenomena. This whole #dadbod thing is so wrong on so many levels…arghhhh!
Mark over at Mark’s Daily Apple talked about How Important is Consistency in Fitness? I posted in the comments that I sometimes struggle with this myself…mostly with the words commitment and consistency. I’m not saying I lack either. When I commit to something, especially fitness related, I want to be all in 100%! I sometimes have to tell myself “Hey dummy, it’s okay to miss a workout here and there, life happens sometimes. You’re not training for the Olympics. Your’e training for a happy, healthy and BALANCED life.”
John Kinnear over at Ask Your Dad Blog wrote about buying things for his “kids” which are really for himself! My son is still a little peanut but I can certainly see myself doing a few of these in the near future.
Lee Boyce over at the Huffington Post highlighted 6 Ways Your Workouts Are Aging You Faster.
Brandon Richey over at Brandon Richey Fitness talked about The Importance of Grip Strength which is something of mine that I admit, needs some work.
Ross over at Ross Training had some Training Tips For Busy People.
Wherever you are I wish you a safe, fun and active weekend.
Keep the blue side up.
