Well I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend. Here in Warsaw Harvey and myself are by ourselves. Call it a guys weekend. We had some relatives come over from Canada for a visit so my wife Carly and son Benjamin are taking them to the northern part of Poland for some sightseeing. Unfortunately someone needs to stay home with our dog Harvey so this papa bear was the likely candidate. No big plans for us. Some weekend Crossfit and some long walks and just maybe some well deserved ice cream….we’ll see. Anyways here’s the round-up for the week:

What was most disturbing about the article wasn’t the data but the comments after the article was posted. It was shocking to read people actually defending soda, the sugar content in it, and how it’s perfectly acceptable to regularly give it to your children! WOW!
The always hilarious Tony Gentilcore is pissed at Vogue magazine for Setting Women’s Fitness Back a Few Decades.
Mark over at Mark’s Daily Apple talked about The Best Kind of Health Insurance and also announced his new Primal Kitchen Franchise. Maybe in the not too distant future you just might see one of these pop up near you.

The Sock Doc talked about No Stretching for Runners and Athletes. It’s goes against conventional wisdom but I’ve personally noticed that when I don’t stretch after physical activity, I feel a lot better the next day.
